A document signed by Abraham Lott, Clerk of the General Assembly, being apparently the last page of the Assembly's protest against the instructions of Lord Shelburne sent to Governor Moore on 1766 August 9, in reference to the quartering of English troops upon the colony of New York. Also included is a description of the document.
